Island Treasures Gourmet™ was created to share our Gourmet Rum Cake with you!
I created Island Treasures Gourmet™ Rum Cakes using quality ingredients with the idea of a moist, smooth, full-flavored cake that everyone would enjoy. Our large 32 oz Rum Cake comes in six flavors and are made fresh in our own bakery. We top off our Rum Cakes with our special glaze which is poured onto the rum cakes right from the oven.
The ‘Rum’ in Island Treasures Gourmet™ Rum Cake is the Award Winning Whaler’s Original Rum that originated from a legendary Hawaiian Island recipe that is still used today. Whaler’s Original Rum has a smooth, great taste.
In addition to great taste, our product has an attractive box which makes it great for gift giving. Our cakes are often served at parties, enjoyed with morning coffee or an afternoon snack, and are the perfect ending to any meal. While developing the packaging, I wanted the internal container to be attractive as well as functional. The re-closeable container protects the rum cakes when shipping, is attractive for serving and provides storage once cut. We have received many compliments on the re-closeable container - just one more thing that sets Island Treasures Gourmet apart from the others -- and it is completely recyclable!
